【摘要】:1ThispartofISO6383specifiesamethodofdeterminingtheforcerequiredtopropagateatearthroughaspecifieddistanceandfromaspecifiedslit,cutinatestspecimenofthinflexibleplasticsheetingorfilm,underspecifiedconditionsofloading.Theupperlimitofthicknessthatcanbetesteddependsonthetearingforceofthematerialinrelationtothecapacityofthetestingmachine.Materialsthatcanbetestedaccordingtothismethodincludeflexiblepolylvinylchloride)(PVC)andpolyolefinfilms,butvariableelongationandobliquetearingeffectsonthemoreex-tensiblefilmsmaycausepoorreproducibilityoftestresults.ThismethodmaynotbesuitablefortestingmorerigidmaterialssuchasrigidPVC,nylonandpolyesterfilms.2Thetearresistancetestspecifiedbythismethodisap-pliedtospecimenscutfromsemi-finishedandfinishedpro-ducts.Thetestissuitableforthecontrolofproductionandmanufacturedproductsaswellasforacceptanceorrejectiontestingunderspecificationsforsemi-finishedandfinishedpro-ducts,providedthatithasbeendemonstratedthatthedataforaparticularmaterialareacceptablyreproducible.3Thereisnodirectlinearrelationshipbetweentearingforceandspecimenthickness.Datafromthismethodareex-pressedastearingforceinnewtons,withspecimenthicknessalsoreported.Onlydataobtainedatthesamethicknessshouldbecomparedbecausesetsofdatafromspecimensofdissimilarthicknessaregenerallynotcomparable.
