【摘要】:Thisclassificationcoverspairsofscalesforclassifyinganaspectoftheserviceabilityofanofficefacility,thatis,thecapabilityofanofficefacilitytomeetcertainpossiblerequirementstoaccommodatechangesinworkingmethod,andfrequentrelocationsofstaff,andrealignmentofworkstations.Eachpairofscalesshownin,printedsidebysideonapage,areforclassifyingonetopicofserviceabilitywithinthataspectofserviceability.EachparagraphinanOccupantRequirementScale(see)summarizesonelevelofserviceabilityonthattopicthatoccupantsmightrequire.ThematchingentryintheFacilityRatingScale(see)isatranslationoftherequirementintoadescriptionofcertainfeaturesofafacilitythat,takenincombination,indicatethatthefacilityislikelytomeetthatlevelofrequiredserviceability.TheentriesintheFacilityRatingScale(see)areindicativeandnotcomprehensive.Theyareforquickscanning,toestimateapproximately,quickly,andeconomicallyhowwellanofficefacilityislikelytomeettheneedsofoneoranothertypeofoccupantgroupovertime.Theentriesarenotformeasuring,knowing,andevaluatinghowanofficefacilityisperforming.Thisclassificationcanbeusedtoestimatethelevelofserviceabilityofanexistingfacility.Itcanalsobeusedtoestimatetheserviceabilityofafacilitythathasbeenplannedbutnotyetbuilt,suchasoneforwhichsingle-linedrawingsandoutlinespecificationshavebeenprepared.Thisclassificationindicateswhatwouldcauseafacilitytoberatedatacertainlevelofserviceability,butitdoesnotstatehowtoconductaserviceabilityratingorhowtoassignaserviceabilityscore.ThatinformationisfoundinPracticeE1334.ThescalesinthisclassificationarecomplementarytoandcompatiblewithPracticeE1334.Eachrequirestheother.
